DMIS 1140 — Fundamentals of Breast Sonography 2 Credit Hours

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of breast Sonography. This course reviews the identification of sonographic physics-related artifacts in normal and abnormal breast tissue and anatomy. Correlation with other imaging modalities and surgical techniques in breast pathology are also included. (2 lecture hours)
