DMIS 1121 — Fundamentals of OB/GYN I 3 Credit Hours
Students will be introduced to the female reproductive system as it relates to Sonography. Topics will include imaging in the first trimester of pregnancy and non-gravid uterus, review of ultrasound images of normal anatomy and pathology, ultrasound appearance of the cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, placenta, and fetus. Management of gynecologic infertility and post menopausal women will also be discussed. (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
