CSPD 1111 — Central Sterile Processing and Distribution 3 Credit Hours
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of central sterile processing, supplies, services, distribution of instrumentation, and equipment. Upon successful completion students will be eligible to take the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) Provisional Examination as well as the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Certification Examination. (3 lecture hours)
