CIT 1100 — IT Fundamentals 3 Credit Hours
Students will develop a broad understanding of Information Technology. Students will be introduced to computer hardware, software, infrastructure, cloud computing, coding, and databases. Students will also learn hardware and software installation, basic network connectivity, along with identification and prevention of cybersecurity risks. This course will prepare students for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam. (2 lecture hours, 2 contact hours)
