CIS 2485 — C++ for Science and Engineering 3 Credit Hours

Introduces engineering students to application development using the C++ programming language. Emphasis is on object-oriented design, programming, and documentation of scientific applications. Topics include statistical analysis, curve fitting, optimization, engineering, scientific modeling applications, language format and syntax, functions, data-storage classes, arrays, structures, user-defined classes, inheritance, and polymorphism. (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
