ART 2900 — Portfolio Development and Professional Practices for Artists 3 Credit Hours
Exploration of the skills and practices necessary to build and sustain a professional art career. Utilizing an individual artist plan as a guiding framework, the course combines writing and portfolio development with critical exploration around creative practice and community building. Designed for advanced art students pursuing an AFA degree, transferring to a BFA program, preparing for an MFA, or advancing their career. May include field trips to galleries and professional art studios. (6 lab hours)
