ART 2251 — Intermediate Jewelry/Metalsmithing: Casting 3 Credit Hours
An intermediate exploration of jewelry/metalsmithing with a focus on wax carving and working methods, lost wax casting, production of multiples, and an introduction to 3D modeling and printing. Emphasis is placed on technical skills, craftsmanship, and integration of form with concept. Students will further develop their personal aesthetic through the medium of metal. (6 lab hours)
