ART 2218 — Seeing Animals 3 Credit Hours

With an emphasis on critical theory and visual studies methods, this course will consider how images of nonhuman animals in the visual arts, film, and literature reflect or challenge widely-held cultural attitudes towards animals, and our relationships with them. Field trips may be required. (3 lecture hours)
