ANAT 1571 — Anatomy and Physiology With Cadaver I 4 Credit Hours
First semester of a two-semester sequence focusing on the structure and function of the human body and its mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis. Course topics include the study of cell biology, histology, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems as well as the special senses. Identification of anatomical structures on Cadavers will be required for the laboratory. This course is intended to be an alternative to ANAT 1551 ; credit toward graduation will be granted for ANAT 1551 or ANAT 1571 , but not for both. (3 lecture hours, 3 lab hours)
