PSY 030 — Social Psychology Units: 3

This course will focus on the study of how people think, feel, and behave in social situations. Topics studied will include aggression, conformity, obedience, persuasion, attitudes and stereotypes. The role of social judgment, prejudice, pro-social behavior, attraction, cultural norms and interpersonal relationships are also examined. The scientific method and research techniques used in social psychology are explored. Ethical implications of research are discussed.
