This course presents an overview of the psychological and physiological development and perspectives of gender. Theories, myths, and stereotypes in society about gender and femininity along with differences and arguments identified in research will be covered. Topics include research used to study gender, sex-related comparisons and the influence of gender in many areas including relationships, health and communication.
