MATH 011 — Math Concepts for Elementary School Teachers - Number Systems Units: 3

This course covers mathematical topics needed for elementary school teaching with a focus on quantitative reasoning, problem solving, and communication. Topics include structure of the real number system, numeration systems, computation algorithms, problem solving strategies, and elementary number theory. The course meets requirements for elementary school teacher certification. (C-ID MATH 120) Note: All students now can enroll in this transfer-level course without completing posted requisites.
