GEOL 1104. HISTORICAL GEOLOGY (LAB) (0-3-1) This laboratory-based course accompanies GEOL 1304, Historical Geology. Laboratory activities will introduce methods used by scientist to interpret the history of life and major events in the physical development of Earth from rocks and fossils. Laboratory excerises include the basic studies of rocks, interpretation of depositional environments, tectonic settings, stratigraphic sequence analysis and fossil interpretation.
