RED 4519 — Diagnosis, Intervention in Reading

The purpose of this course is to introduce formal and informal methods and materials used to identify reading strengths and weaknesses of students. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis of reading problems, administration of assessments, evaluation of results and planning instructional interventions to remediate reading difficulties. This course requires field experience hours working with K-12 students in an approved public school.
