SPAN 102 — C Elementary Spanish II 5 Units

Term hours: 90 lecture. This Spanish language and culture course continues to focus on the acquisition of the four major skills in language learning: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Included are the grammar and vocabulary necessary to increase proficiency and communicative competence in these four skill areas. Students broaden their knowledge of the customs, history, and geography of Spain and Latin America. This course is conducted primarily in Spanish and requires weekly assignments, so students may further their linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. (UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, LOTE, C-ID: SPAN 110)
