PSY 221 — C The Brain and Behavior 3 Units
Term hours: 54 lecture. This course examines the neurophysiological processes associated with mental processes and behavior. Emphasis is placed on the structure and function of the brain and other central nervous system structures. Related processes such as the autonomic nervous system, the endocrine system and the immune system are also studied. Specific topics studied in the context of the brain include learning, sensation, perception, emotion, motivation, cognition, memory, stress, psychological disorders, and brain dysfunction.
