PHOT 204 — C History of Photography 3 Units

Term hours: 36 lecture and 72 laboratory. This is a lecture/lab course on the history of photography that is designed to give students a practical knowledge of the development of the medium through a combination of lecture and hands-on technical and aesthetic experiences utilizing early photographic techniques and processes. The course will emphasize the invention and development of photography from its inception in the early 1800’s through 1970. $35.00 Material Fee-Payable at Registration. (UC/ CSU, AA GE, CalGETC)
