MUS 102 — C Music Reading 3 Units

Term hours: 54 lecture. This course is designed to teach students how to read music from the printed page. Participants will learn basic skills, such as identifying note names and rhythm values, and will progress to the primary levels of sightsinging and developing the inner ear, a skill vital to every musician.
