MAD 108 — C Digital Video Production (formerly Digital Video Production I-Windows) 3 Units

Term hours: 36 lecture and 72 laboratory. This course introduces Windows digital video production techniques including single camera operation and procedures, basic principles and techniques of sound and scriptwriting, and digital video editing. Course topics include the operation of digital camcorders; lighting and sound equipment and post production digital editing suites; concepts and techniques of nonlinear digital editing, including organization of the editing process; working the time line and audio editing, with emphasis on the principles and aesthetics of video editing. $20 materials fee payable at registration.
