ENGL 127 — C Introduction to Poetry Writing 3 Units
Advisories: ENGL C1000 ( ENGL C1000 ) or ENGL C1000H ( ENGL C1000H ) or ENGL C1000E ( ENGL C1000E ) or ESL 110 C and ENGL 102 C or ENGL 102 HC and ENGL 105 C . Term hours:54 Lecture. Students will read and analyze classic and contemporary forms, techniques, and literary elements of poetry. Students will write their own original poetry, which will be critiqued in a workshop setting. (CSU/UC, AA GE, CalGETC)
