ECON 130 — C Consumer Economics 3 Units
Term Hours: 54 lecture. This course explains the role of consumer behavior, consumer theories and models, consumer protection and law, government protection, decision making and advertising, issues on health and wellness, sustainability and safety, issues of internet, technology, and identity theft, legal rights and responsibilities, marketing and advertising. Consumer issues, ethics and globalization will also be emphasized. Economics 130 C does not meet the course requirement for majors in economics and business administration. (UC/CSU, AA/AS GE, CalGETC)
