DANC 130 — C Afro-Caribbean Dance 1 Unit

Term hours: 54 laboratory. In this course, students will learn the dance styles and rhythms of African and Caribbean cultures including dances from West Africa, Brazil, Trinidad, Haiti, Bahia, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. Dance as an inseparable part of the culture will be discussed. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. Dance concert admission not to exceed $30.00. (UC/CSU, AA GE)
