ATC 140 — C Meteorology 3 Units
Term hours: 54 lecture. This is a course of study of weather recognition, icing, fog, fronts, clouds, weather maps and symbols, forecasting pressure patterns, wind systems, temperature-humidity-dew point relationships, precipitation, with emphasis on the practical application of this knowledge to safe flying practices. The services and assistance available from the U.S. Weather Bureau will be highlighted. The course meets the Meteorology requirements of the FAA for ground training. (CSU)
