ART 112HC — Honors Survey of Art History II 3 Units
Term hours: 54 lecture. This is an enhanced course that studies the development of architecture, sculpture, and painting of the Western world from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century. Emphasis is placed on examining how art records and shapes history, how style communicates the ideas of the artist and their culture, and how symbols, techniques, materials, and subjects are used and transferred from one culture to another.
