Emergency Medical Technology, Associate of Applied Science
This program is designed for individuals providing emergency medical service to the community. Three levels of training are available: EMT-B, EMT-P and Associate of Applied Science degree in Emergency Medical Technology. Certification is provided by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and the Ohio Dept. of Public Safety, Division of EMS. The graduate may function on the levels required by Ohio Law to provide basic and advanced life support under the direction of a physician, as well as to provide supervision of operations in an emergency service.
