WGS 2120 — WGS-2120 Women and Politics

[This course is cross-listed as POL-2120 . Credit can only be earned once for either course.] This is an introductory course to the study of the United States’ political process from a gender perspective. Specifically, the course looks at how gender impacts the political process in the United States and how women impact the political process at the federal, state, and local levels of government. Content includes addressing policy issues that may be of particular interest to women. Policy topics may vary and include reproductive rights, pay, employment, child care, and health care.
