Study of human anatomy and physiology emphasizing the systems of communication, control, circulation, and defense as they relate to massage and manual therapy. Topics include the nervous, neuromuscular, myofascial, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, and immune systems. Focus on body integration, homeostasis, and healing processes relevant to manual-therapy practice.
