ITNT 2370 — ITNT-2370 Network Security Fundamentals
This course provides a foundational overview of network security principles and practices, including cryptography, security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and malware analysis. It integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques such as machine learning and deep learning for anomaly detection, threat prediction, and automated security response. Students will explore both traditional and AI-driven approaches to securing networks, while also covering essential topics like authentication, remote access, security architectures, forensics, and disaster recovery. The course also supports preparation for the CompTIA Security+ certification.
