SURH 2020 - Surgical Technology Peri-Operative Practice SURH 2020 - Surgical Technology Peri-Operative Practice The course provides instruction in the professional role and skill sets required of the surgical technologist in the peri-operative environment. It includes discussion and application of aseptic technique as related to the supplies and equipment used during the course of surgery. This course will cover the responsibilities of the surgical technologist in the first scrub role during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure. This class includes a laboratory component. Prerequisite: BIO 2350 , admission to the Manchester Campus Hartford Hospital Surgical Technology Program Corequisite: SURH 2210 Previous: SUR* 102
