SCI 1014 - Survey of Science SCI 1014 - Survey of Science This non-science majors course with lab surveys content in biology, physics, and chemistry with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary nature of these fields of science and how they relate to everyday life. Topics will include the scientific method and process of science, heat, refraction, energy, acids and bases, electrolytes, microscopy, cellular structure, heredity, and basics of ecology. Laboratory experiments will both integrate and reinforce material discussed in lecture, as well as foster collaboration and teamwork among students.
