PSY 1163 - Children with Disabilities PSY 1163 - Children with Disabilities This course is a general introduction to exceptional learners, their families, and their education. The course includes discussion of the psychological, medical, and sociological aspects of exceptional learners and their relationship to family, community, and especially the educational system. The course emphasis is on the inclusion of exceptional learners within family, community, and school. This course focuses on all exceptional learners, including gifted and/or talented students.
