NUR 2226 - Transition to Professional Nursing Practice NUR 2226 - Transition to Professional Nursing Practice This course prepares the student for transition to nursing practice by providing a more in-depth exploration of the concepts of leadership, professionalism, clinical judgment, and inter-professional communication. Students explore current trends in nursing and engage in multiple preparatory activities for obtaining licensure, acquiring post-graduate employment, and planning professional development. Prerequisite: NUR 2220C (C or higher), SOC 1001 (C or higher), ENG 1020 OR ANY ENG COURSE THAT MEETS THE WRITTEN COMMUNICATION II
