MFG 2405 - Principles of CNC with Mastercam MFG 2405 - Principles of CNC with Mastercam An introduction to computer numerical control (CNC) programming of 3-axis machine tools by generating 2D and 3D geometries using Mastercam® software. Topics include an introduction to CNC programming, coding, virtual set-up, virtual tooling, virtual operation, post-processing, and troubleshooting based on CNC practices. Students learn the basic principles and applications of numerically controlled software and hardware and get exposed to the programming of CNC milling machines and machining centers.
