MFG 1501 - Introduction to Injection Molding Technology MFG 1501 - Introduction to Injection Molding Technology This course provides students with a foundational understanding of injection mold terminology, machine part identification, safety protocols, machine controls, and startup and shutdown procedures. Students will learn to recognize and address common part defects including short shots, flashing, warping, surface defects, color variations, and shrinkage.
