Taken with MATH 1100 , this course emphasizes quantitative skills needed to be an engaged citizen. Critical thinking and problem solving are emphasized along with the application of mathematics to real-world scenarios requiring reasoning from evidence. Students will learn to communicate effectively with numbers and use technology to enhance their quantitative reasoning ability. Credit does not fulfill degree requirements and is not transferable outside the Connecticut Community College system.
