LATN 1011 - Elementary Latin I LATN 1011 - Elementary Latin I An introduction to the Latin language and Classical Roman history and culture with emphasis on the development of the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in order to prepare students for successful entry into the target language. This is a beginning course for students who have had very limited or no prior study of this language. This is a four-credit course with an embedded language lab component.
