ITAL 2011 - Intermediate Italian I ITAL 2011 - Intermediate Italian I This course is for students who have already attained a working knowledge of the language. Students continue to develop and strengthen speaking and listening comprehension and reading and writing skills, as well as learn more about Italian-speaking cultures. Students are introduced to cultural and literary materials that will develop an appreciation of the arts, history, culture, and the literature of Italian-speaking peoples and create an awareness of cultural, social, and linguistic differences and similarities. Instruction focuses on oral and written communication. This is a four-credit course with an embedded language lab component.
