HUM 1025 - Peace and Conflict Studies HUM 1025 - Peace and Conflict Studies A study of the concepts of positive and negative peace, nonviolent strategies of resistance, human rights, social justice, restorative justice, conflict transformation, and methods of conflict resolution. Students will analyze contemporary conflicts in a multidisciplinary context – environmental, historical, political, socio-cultural, psychological, and economic. Students will reflect on issues that may trigger conflict and the types of conflict prevalent in the 21st century.
