HSER 2435 - Family Violence Across the Lifespan HSER 2435 - Family Violence Across the Lifespan This course introduces students to the three types of abuse: spousal/partner, child, and elder. Emphasis is placed on examination of contributing factors, reviewing victim and perpetrator profiles, evaluating community responses and resources, and laws and legislation related to the protection of individuals, the community, and society. Prerequisite: C- or higher in HSER 1001 or SOC 1001 Previous: HSE* 185
