HIST 2007 - The History of Puerto Rico HIST 2007 - The History of Puerto Rico This course examines the physical and political geography of Puerto Rico, its people’s Native American, African, and European origins, and the socio-political history of the island from prehistory to the present day. The course will also examine the outsized effect of Puerto Rico’s culture and people on the world stage in politics and culture. Prerequisite: eligibility for ENG 1010 / ENG 0910 Previous: HIS*107
