Students will apply codes from the current version (and available future releases) of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) to describe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and medical and surgical services. Students will apply Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) Level II codes to report healthcare procedures, supplies, products, and services that are not reportable under the CPT system.
