ENVE 2990 - Environmental Issues Seminar ENVE 2990 - Environmental Issues Seminar In this 3-credit course, students develop their knowledge of current environmental issues through expert guest lectures, research, and assigned readings. Students explore a variety of global and local environmental topics that may include one or more of the following: environmental trends and issues, global climate change, human impacts on our oceans and land, federal and state regulations, solid, municipal and hazardous waste management, environmental restoration and remediation, wildlife management, alternative and renewable energy, sustainable landscape management, sustainable agriculture, GMOs, conservation, stewardship, land use, water quality, and/or stormwater management.
