CJS 2470 - Fair and Impartial Policing CJS 2470 - Fair and Impartial Policing This course will introduce students to the concepts of fair and impartial policing and police legitimacy. Topics such as stereotyping, hate, and prejudice will be covered as well as the science of bias and the role of procedural justice in promoting fair and impartial policing practices. The course will also examine the relationship between procedural justice, police legitimacy, and police-community relations. Prerequisite: CJS 1010 with a C- or higher and ENG 1010 with a C- or higher and CJS 1050 or CJS 1200 with a C- or higher Previous: CJS* 247
