BIO 1710 - Field Biology BIO 1710 - Field Biology Lecture-laboratory. This is an introduction to field ecology with special emphasis on identification of Connecticut plants and animals in the outdoors. A wide range of topics will be presented including map reading, edible wild foods, specimen collecting, herbarium preservation, and wildlife observations.
