Fabrication Methods II (2-5) 5 Credits This course provides the students an opportunity to learn various advanced welding applications which include thermal cutting, Gas Metal Arc Welding-Pulse (GMAW-), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). The student will also learn a technical understanding of advanced cutting operations including Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming. The student will also learn advanced CNC to correctly operate fabrication equipment. This course will also provide the student with a technical understanding of calculating material and use of proper procedures for the completion of projects manufactured in the lab.
