Companion Animal Technology (2-2) 3 Credits In addition to instruction in restraint and handling of dogs, cats, this course also includes the study of common canine and feline diseases, small animal parasites, medical terminology, identification of breeds, discussion of commonly used medications, bathing and basic grooming techniques, blood collection, specimen collection, and common laboratory techniques. (Prerequisite: Admittance to the Veterinary Technology program)
