Medical Surgical Nursing II (8-0) 8 Credits Medical Surgical Nursing II is delivered in a hybrid format with an online component delivered through Canvas. Building on the skills of Medical/Surgical Nursing I, instruction involves scientific principles associated with illness, effects on body systems and current trends in patient care. Course will include both nutrition and pharmacological aspects that apply to each disease/disorder. Students enrolled in this course must also be concurrently enrolled in Fundamentals in Nursing III course. (Prerequisite: PN 158)
