Fundamentals in Nursing II (3-2) 5 Credits Fundamentals of Nursing II is delivered in a hybrid format with an online component delivered through Canvas. Complex nursing skills are taught and demonstrated in the classroom, skills laboratory, and in the clinical setting. Following the introduction of material in the classroom, time will be spent in the pre -clinical setting, practicing the newly learned skills under the supervision of the course instructors. Skill competency, time management, development of a therapeutic relationship with patients, and professional conduct will all be evaluated in this course. All IV therapy class time is required and must be made up if any time is missed. It is the student ’s responsibility to consult with the instructor to schedule make -up hours. (Prerequisite: PN 152)
