Descriptive Astronomy (3-0) 3 Credits This is an introductory lecture course in astronomy. Topics include the history of Astronomy, the Moon, the Sun, the Solar System, Gravity and planetary motion, stellar evolution, neutron stars, black holes, galaxies and the evolution of the Universe. The course satisfies part of the general education science requirements for the Associate in Arts degree.
