Functional Movement: Occupation and Adaption (2-2) 3 Credits This course will present the basic principles of biomechanics and kinesiology related to human movement and occupational performance. To analyze functional movement required for work, self -care, and play this course will study the interrelationship among the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal system, anatomical landmarks, joints, posture, balance, and locomotion. (Prerequisite: BIOL 252 and MATH 125, 130 or 135; Co -requisites: OTA 201 and OTA 211)
